A broad provider directory

FindBestDoc is designed to cover physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinics, and other healthcare providers across the United States. The directory foundation comes from the public National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) NPI Registry.

Public records, clearer context

Public registry data can identify a provider and practice location, but it may not reflect every current detail. Unclaimed listings are kept distinct from member profiles. Providers can claim a listing, correct or add professional information, and complete identity, NPI, and state-license review.

Trust without hidden rankings

A green Verified badge reflects a completed review; it is never sold. Featured priority placement is always marked Paid and affects visibility—not clinical quality, credentials, or patient outcomes.

Monthly memberships

Monthly plans may be canceled at any time before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues through the end of the current paid billing period. FindBestDoc does not provide prorated or partial-month refunds.

Annual memberships

An annual Verified Provider membership may be refunded when a request is made within 30 days of the original annual purchase. After that 30-day period, the annual fee is non-refundable, but the membership may be canceled to prevent renewal.

Featured priority placement

Featured priority placement fees are non-refundable once placement for that billing period has begun. Canceling stops the next renewal; it does not reverse a placement period that has already run.

How to request help

Use the Contact page and choose “Billing, cancellation, or refund.” Include the account email and enough detail to identify the membership, but do not include card numbers or medical information.

Information we expect to collect

• Search terms, filters, approximate location selections, and basic usage information needed to operate and improve the directory.
• Claim-form details such as provider or authorized staff name, business contact information, NPI, license details, profile content, and membership selections.
• Account, billing-status, and support information needed to manage a provider membership. Payment-card details should be handled by the payment processor rather than stored by FindBestDoc.

How information is used

Information is used to provide search results, review and maintain provider profiles, manage membership and support, protect the service, and understand how the directory is used.

No sale of personal data

FindBestDoc does not sell personal data. Featured priority placement is an advertising service for providers and is always marked Paid; it does not involve selling a patient’s personal information.

Public provider information

Basic directory records may come from the public NPPES NPI Registry. Enhanced profile content is supplied or confirmed by the provider or authorized practice staff. Providers may use the claim process to request updates to their profile.

Privacy questions

Use the Contact page and select “Privacy question.” Do not submit medical records, diagnoses, insurance identifiers, payment-card numbers, or other sensitive health or financial information.

Informational directory only

FindBestDoc provides directory and educational information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a guarantee that a provider is appropriate for a particular patient. Users should independently confirm credentials, availability, insurance participation, and other details before receiving care.

Provider information and responsibilities

Providers and authorized practice staff are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and currency of content they submit. A claimant must be the provider or have authority to act for the practice. FindBestDoc may request documentation, correct obvious errors, suspend a claim, or remove content that is misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or unsupported.

Verification

The green Verified badge indicates completion of FindBestDoc’s identity, NPI, and relevant state-license review at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of care quality, suitability, availability, outcomes, or future license status. The badge is earned through review and cannot be purchased.

Priority placement

Featured priority placement is a paid visibility service and is always labeled Paid. It may affect placement in search results but does not represent a clinical ranking, endorsement, or guarantee of patient contacts.

Accounts, claims, and billing

Members are responsible for safeguarding account access, keeping billing details current, and canceling before renewal when they do not want another billing period. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy. FindBestDoc may limit or end access for misuse, fraud, unauthorized profile claims, or material violations of these terms.

Acceptable use

Users may not scrape, copy, misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service. The directory may be used for lawful personal and professional purposes consistent with these terms.
